REHABILITATION

MACS’ Psychological Rehabilitation & Reformatory Program is formulated to better dogs with behavioural issues. Owners can become overwhelmed when trying to deal with these issues on their own. Issues can range from social anxieties to dominant aggression.

Throughout the program, the dog in question is put on an intensive fitness routine as well as on a proper nutritional diet and schedule.

To achieve success through this program, the dog must be housed at the MACS rehabilitation facility for a pre-determined period of time. This gives our staff sufficient time to work on the issues at hand as well as properly educate the owners, thus reducing the chances of a relapse, post-program.

Please contact us to discuss how we can begin to rehabilitate your animal and start to make positive changes in your and your pets’ wellbeing.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

This program is designed for extremely aggressive and/or anxious dogs which must be referred to MACS by a Veterinarian. If your dog meets the criteria for rehabilitation, have a MACS Psychologist first help you with a consultation followed by a visit to your local veterinarian to rule out all other possibilities before being referred to MACS.

If your animal has a simple problem such as: too much energy, leash pulling or other minor problems, we would recommend our consultation and behavioural daycare services.

If you are outside the Moncton Area please contact us for a Consultation or we may be to recommend a local dog trainer.
